The other day I thought about how much I relied on a GPS. I used to get lost all the time. It seemed that every time I drove somewhere on my own, I would have to call my husband to get me back on the right road. He finally bought me a GPS so I would not get lost again.
It made me think about how some people go aimlessly through life because they do not have God in their lives. It made me think about driving with a map versus driving with a GPS. We can get very lost with just a map especially if the road we are traveling is blocked or is no longer there, but the GPS can help us find detours and alternate paths. This is similar to what God does— giving us direction, guidance, and a better way to get where we need to go. Proverbs 3:6 tells us, “Seek His will in all you do, and He will show you which path to take.”
How are you finding your way through life?
